Hello, I did MA in English as well as in Bengali. I did double MA from Burdwan University. I want to apply for UGC-NET with Bengali subject so tat I can do PhD in Bengali. So, I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for me to apply.

Eligibility to apply for UGC-NET(Bengali):

You must have secured at least 55% marks (For SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD categories is 50%) in your Masters degree exams. Candidates who have completed their Masters degree on September 19, 1991 will get a relaxation of 5% marks in the aggregate in their qualifying exams. Eligibility criteria for such candidates will be 50% instead of 55% to be eligible to appear for UGC NET 2019.
