Yes, Entrance examination is available to study PhD in Civil Engineering at JNTU Kakinada. Admission selection will be done on the basis of written test and personal interview. The minimum qualifying marks for the written test is 40% for OBC and other categories and for SC/ST it is 25%. The candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR/NET/SLET will be exempted from the written test but need to appear for a personal interview.

The educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed post graduation in the relevant field with a minimum score of 60% marks for general category and for SC/ST it is 55% marks from a recognized university.
