I have completed my MPhil english theory through Madras university in 2007-2008 could I continue the thesis through other university.

It is not possible to complete an MPhil thesis half from one university and half from another. The MPhil degree is awarded by a single university, and the thesis work needs to be completed at that university. If you want to pursue a PhD from another university, you may have to start the PhD program afresh and complete all the requirements of the new university. However, you may be able to transfer some credits from your MPhil coursework to your PhD program, subject to the rules and regulations of the new university. It is best to consult with the university or department where you plan to pursue your PhD for specific guidelines and procedures.
