Yes, you have to appear for an entrance examination which is held by the MG university for admission to various Ph.D courses.

The minimum eligibility criteria for applying Ph.D course is that the candidate must hold a master's degree or its equivalent with more than 55% marks.

The candidate has to fill an online application from with all relevant details.
