Should I have to appear in any entrance exam to study PhD if pursuing M.Phil with Fellowship?


Hello,
I am pursuing M.Phil and also got Fellowship. I want to study PhD in Chemistry. So, now again I have to give any entrance exam?

Yes, you should appear in CSIR NET exam for Ph.D in Chemistry.

Those candidates who have completed BS-4 years program/BE/B. Tech/B. Pharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/M.Sc. or Equivalent degree with at least 55% marks are eligible for CSIR NET exam.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for CSIR NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Your age should be below 28 years.
