For which subject I should apply for UGC-NET to study PhD in Politics?
Sir,
I want to know the different subjects of Politics which I can apply in UGC-NET? I want to do PhD in Politics so which subject I can go for UGC-NET? Kindly tell me about this. |

You can apply for Political sciences subject if you are interested in doing Ph.D in Politics. For that you must have a Master's degree with at least 55% marks in Political Sciences field. There is relaxation for reserved category candidates and they can apply with 50% marks.
After clearing NET/SLET/JRF in the respective subject you will be eligible for admission without appearing for any other entrance exam. If you don't have any of these scores then also do not worry and apply for other Ph.D entrance exams. The admission is purely on merit and you have to perform well in the exam and personal interview. |
