Am I eligible for NET having 53% in post graduation under OBC category?


In graduation I scored 43% and in post graduation I score 52% should I eligible for NET EXAM .I BELONG TO OBC CATEGORY

Yes, you are eligible for NET with 53% in post graduation under OBC category.

Following is the minimum academic qualification required to appear for UGC NET exam:-

1- Candidate must secure at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in master degree or equivalent examination from UGC recognized universities/colleges in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc.

2- 50% marks required for candidates belonging to OBC non-creamy layer/SC/ST/ PWD category.

As per your post graduation marks, you are not eligible for UGC NET exam.

Those candidates who have completed post graduation degree with above 55% marks from a recognized University are eligible for UGC NET exam.

Your age should be below 30 years.

Yes,you are eligible candidates who must have 50%marks in post graduation under OBC Category.
