I have got 12.49 marks in GATE of this year. May I eligible for getting admission in M.Tech course or not? Please tell me immediately.

In order to be eligible to get admission in M.Tech course via GATE examination, you should have at least clear the cut-off marks required to clear the examination.

Cut-off marks however is never the same and varies each year depending upon various factors. So, if you clear the cut-off marks you are eligible for the course otherwise you cannot.

No, you are not eligible for M.Tech course with 12.49 marks in GATE exam.

So you can apply for GATE exam and you can score above 30 marks in GATE exam. Then you will get GATE score card which helps you to get admission in M.Tech course.

I am sorry to say you that with 12.49 marks in GATE examination you are not eligible to take admission in M.Tech as the cut off marks for doing M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering you must have scored at least 29 marks in GATE examination.
