Can I pursue M.Sc physics after B.Tech?
Hi guys, I'm Anand. I have completed my B.Tech in mechanical engineering in 2016. Now, I want to pursue my career in physics. I don't know, if any university provides MSc physics after B.Tech. Please help.

To pursue MSc Physics there are top most colleges offering this course and also you are eligible to study this course after B.Tech Mech.
And the duration of this course is 2 Years. Eligibility Criteria Required to pursue M.Sc Physics After B.Tech:
Yes, you are certainly eligible to pursue M.Sc in Physics after successful completion of B.Tech course. Basically the basic educational qualification required to pursue this M.Sc Physics is Bachelor of Science course in Physics stream. But besides this, candidates from B.Tech or any such graduation are also eligible to pursue this M.Sc in Physics course. As you are willing to pursue M.Sc in Physics, you may appear in entrance examination's conducted by concerned universities entrance examination's and score merit marks in order to secure a seat in concerned college. Yes, there are colleges that offer M.Sc Physics for B.Tech background in India. |

** As per my knowledge, you are eligible for Master of Science in Physics after Bachelor of Technology course.
** Also you need to score minimum of 50% in your Bachelor of Technology course. |

I am happy to tell you that definitely you can pursue M.Sc after the completion of B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, there is no problem in it.
Candidates those who have completed their Bachelors degree in Science stream from a recognised University studying Physics as a subject with a minimum of 50% of marks in it are eligible to opt for the M.Sc course in Physics. |
