How to get a job in software company after completion of B.Com? Can someone please provide me the suggestion which I can follow to ensure that I will get the job soon? Awaiting to get the response from here. Thank you for this forum.

In order to get a job in software company you should have completed B.Com with minimum 60% to 65% marks from a recognized college/university. You have to opt for some job oriented computer courses which will help you to fetch a job in software fields or opt for degree course like MCA, IFA etc. After completing any of these courses you can apply for jobs in different companies:

> Advance XL.XML

> Advanced Java

> Java

> .NET

> PHP developing

> C++

> SQL

> Oracle

> DSA etc.

You are not eligible to apply for software company after completion of B.Com.

The basic qualification required to apply for B.E or B. Tech software engineering is a pass in intermediate course in science stream with Physics, Computer Science and Mathematics subject from a recognised board.

Those with computer science as specialisation in plus two are given special preference.

Being B.Com student you can apply for master degree course such as:-

Master of Commerce

Master of Business

Master of Arts.

It is not possible to get a job in the software field after completion of B.Com graduation. To get a job in software companies, you should have studied BE or BTech in Computer Science or Information Technology or ECE or Master of Computer Applications. Therefore, to get a job in the software industry, you have to study the MCA course. After completion of MCA course from a reputed college/university, you have a bright chance of getting a job in the software field. Candidates are selected based on their performance in the written test, technical interview and HR interview. Candidates with very good technical and communication skills are preferred by the software companies.

after completion of BCom you may get job in software company but maybe in accounts department of facility department or in any other department but after completion of BCom it is not possible directly to work in software job. But if you can complete MBA then you will get a chance to work in software company may be directly software related department. My suggestion to you is that you have completed BCom then you should go for job in commerce related field or you should go for study in commerce related field then you may go for M com and even you may take admission in MBA but choose finance or any other department other than IT.

For getting job in software company for any technical job, you need to have some skills related to coding and programming languages. Only on the basis of B.Com degree, you won't get such jobs.

Most of the companies still prefer B.Tech and MCA candidates only. If not, then B.Sc and M.Sc candidates are next in line. B.Com degree is mostly considered for job in financial companies.
