Hi everyone, I am preparing for the interview of Microland Limited, Bengaluru for the post of Service Engineer. I don’t know about the roles and responsibilities for this particular post. Can anyone of you let me know about this post?

Roles and responsibilities of Service Engineer in Microland Limited, Bengaluru:

You are required to resolve Technical problems at level 1.

You are required to install / uninstall various software and upgrades equipment when necessary.

Remote management of hardware/software related problems is required.

You will work on Desktop/ Laptop/Server Installation , Software upgrade & Reports.

You are required to install anti-virus on servers upgrades, monitoring anti-virus patches on Servers and Desktops and generating Reports.

You are required to handle data/systems backup activities on daily, weekly and Monthly.

You have to gather knowledge of various technical teams according to the procedure and they have to provide tickets.

You are required to follow the various Escalation Matrix (Vendor, Internal and Customer defined).

You have to ensure that tickets are closed post customer communication & stock management.
