I passed 12th class. I wrote entrance exam 3 times since i didn't get good rank in first two years.Another reason for gap is financial problem.Then I joined for b.tech.
Will this 3 years gap between 12th and b.tech affect my campus placements?

Yes, it will affect your campus placements to some extent. This is because various companies have a clause in their eligibility criteria concerning the number of years gap which is usually not more than 2. SO you will not be eligible for various companies. However, other companies who do not have any such clause in their eligibility criteria will make you eligible in them and you should try your level best to get recruited in them. Also prepare a genuine good answer to the common question which might rise in the interview-" Why so many years gap?"

Chances are there to affect your campus placements. Normally, two years of gap in studies are allowed with valid reasons. More than two years of gap in studies, they won't accept for campus placements. But, start-up companies and some IT companies are preferring the candidate if they have strong technical side and they won't take it as account gap in studies. But, top MNC's companies won't consider in campus placements.

No, you are not eligible for maximum software companies.

Required percentage of marks throughout the studies for Software Companies is,

Software Companies= 60%

Candidates having more than two years gap throughout the studies are not eligible for Software Companies recruitment.

I have 4 year gap between 10th and 12 because of my disease.will I get placement in multinational companies like Infosys,wipro,TCS,etc
