The Annamalai University M.Sc in Geoinformatics (E.M) Earth Resources and Environmental Hazards Papers are prepared keeping in mind that the candidates taking the exam not only have a good hold on the subject matter and are well familiar with the various facts pertaining to the earth reserves and resources but also poses a flair for being able to do something about the various natural calamities that claims so many lives. In the paper you will get only 5 questions, but every question has an alternative. Questions are for 20 marks which they need to answer in about 1500 words. The questions are related to the classification of the energy resources and their distribution across the country. Then there are questions based on the knowledge of the candidate about the reasons behind the various natural calamities like the volcanoes and the earthquakes but also the use of the various modern equipments that can predict their onset. Following this there are questions that test the knowledge of the candidate in putting into action an effective rescue strategy as soon as possible.
