Microwave engineering is a subject for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department in the sixth semester. It has application in the industry like wireless technology, high density electronic packaging for computer systems with fast clock speeds. The subject finds full application in the field of passive microwave circuits include communication systems, mobile phones and wireless local area network, navigation and guidance systems, radar, antennas, radio astronomy, electronic warfare, remote sensing, biomedical devices and many more. Modulation techniques especially digital modulation concepts should be clear enough to score good marks. The practical concepts of receivers, modulators and demodulators are very much important. Cellular ratio 1G-3G and beyond 3G are very much interesting and is definitely important topics to cover up. If your technical and theoretical concepts on computers are nice then you can score high in the subject and will get interest in the subject. In this paper you have to attempt ten 2 marks questions and five 10 marks questions. The long 10 marks questions are again sub-divided into some parts.
