This particular subject i.e. Geotechnical Engineering-I is a part of 5th Semester course of the Civil Engineering Students. The name of this subject is enough to express itself. The paper has few important topics which are Chemical Weathering, Physical Weathering, Thixotropy, Sensitivity, Activity, Toughness Index, Critical Hydraulic Gradient, Soil Structure, Quick Sand Condition, Unconfined Compression Test, coefficient of compressibility, pre-consolidation pressure, Sand Boiling, Held Water, Free Water, Field Identification tests, composite structure, honey combed structure etc. The paper doesn’t have any choice and all 5 questions are mandatory.
