Indraprastha University is an ‘A’ graded university supporting the educational provisions of 120 colleges of Delhi which has been awarded the Platinum Technology Award for the milestones it has achieved in the technological field. The university happens to be a part of many other national bodies of India. Mobile Computing is a special course in BCA that focuses on the portability of mobile features. It is a process conducted by humans to use the mobile contents of communication in different locations. It is the technology by means of which one can access the internet and communicate with others from any place whatsoever. This is taught in a concrete way in the course which basically includes introduction to the technology alongside the applications and architecture, MAC (Medium Access Control) for wireless communications, system architecture, protocols, interface, localization and GSM, mobile network layers where IP is the main concern and data-based systems like data dissemination. The first question of this paper is short notes one, which happens to be the compulsory question as well. Here you have to write 5 shorts notes: total marks 15. Apart from this there are 4 units, each having 2 questions holding 15 marks each. You need to answer any one from each unit.
