The Karnataka Public service commission is divided into two parts- prelims and mains. In the mains examination, there are plenty of subjects out of which the candidates are told to select any two. These two subjects which the candidates select will have further two parts in form of paper I and paper II. In the Karnataka Public Service commission statistics (Paper I) paper, questions are asked from various topics like probability, analysis, multiple analysis, numerical analysis etc. The paper has 4 sections. Section A is of 20 marks, section B is of 100, section C and D are of 90 marks each. The marks for each question in every section are different. Except section D, all the sections are compulsory and have no choices.
