NET stands for National Eligibility Test. The test is held in many subjects, including Commerce. Paper II of the subject consists of only MCQs. Paper III is a conventional exam of 200 marks. There are four sections in the paper. Section I has short answer type questions of 5 marks each. Section II has same type of questions, 15 in number. So the first section is of 25 marks and the second is of 75 marks. The word limit for these two sections is 30 words. Section III has five questions of 12 marks each. These questions are to be answered in 200 words. In the last section there is an essay type question, carrying 40 marks. The word limit for this answer is 1200 words.
