The University Grants Commission conducts the examination for Kashmiri language keeping in mind the very best intentions for the people of Kashmir. They want the most competent candidates to qualify. Thus to test the overall ability of the candidates taking the exam, they divide it in two papers. Each paper deals with a specific aspect of the language and this paper in particular depends on the knowledge of the candidate about the various facts and figures of the language.
