National Eligibility Test (NET) in the Oriya (Paper III) Paper is conducted by the National Educational Testing Bureau of University Grants Commission (UGC). The maximum marks of the paper are 200, and have duration of two and a half hours. There are four sections in the paper, namely Section I, II, III and IV. Section I carries 5 questions, each of 5 marks and each have to be answered in 30 words. Sections II carries a maximum of 15 questions, each of 5 marks and also have to be answered in thirty words. Section III has elective or Specialization part, each having a maximum of 5 questions. Candidates have to answer any one of the part, and each carries twelve marks. They have to be answered in 200 words. Section IV ahs three Essay abased questions, each carrying forty marks. Candidates have to answer any one in 1000 words.
