I am 12th passed with 78% with Arts stream.
I am a Fashion Designer. Can I apply for upcoming
IBSS PO or Clerk exams. I am 28 years old.

I am really sorry to say that you are not at all eligible to apply for IBPS PO Recruitment or IBPS Clerical Cadre recruiting having 12th as the educational qualification. The minimum educational qualification required to apply for any of the Banking Exams is "Graduation" or Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university/ institute.

For IBPS Clerk Recruitment (Minimum Qualification):

>> Candidates must have PASSED Graduation or Bachelor Degree in any discipline or its equivalent exam from a recognized university.

For IBPS PO Recruitment (Minimum Qualification):

>> Candidates must have PASSED Graduation or Bachelor Degree in any discipline or its equivalent exam from a recognized university.

Since you are a 12th passed candidate, you are not eligible to appear in IBPS PO/ Clerk Recruitments. As far as your age is concerned, you are not eligible to appear in these exams being a 28 years old candidate.

To apply for IBPS PO/Clerk examination candidate need to have Graduation degree in any disciple from any recognized university.
You are eligible by age but doesn't have such educational qualification as required to apply for.

As per educational qualification, you are not eligible for IBPS PO/Clerk exam.

IBPS stand for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selections.

Only those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for IBPS PO and clerk exam.

For IBPS po exam, your age should be 20 to 30 years.

For IBPS clerk exam, your age should be 20 to 28 years.

No, you can't apply for IBPS PO /clerk recruitment exam if completed 12th Arts being a 28 years old Fashion Designer.

To apply for IBPS PO/ clerk exam candidate must have completed his/her graduation. 12th passed candidate are not allowed to apply for IBPS exam.
To apply for it you must have graduation degree.

Candidates who have completed their graduation in any stream are eligible to apply for IBPS exam. So, if you have completed your graduation, you are definitely eligible to apply for IBPS exam. The eligibility criteria to appear for IBPS PO/Clerk exam is as follows.

Eligibility Criteria:-
1. Candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Candidate must have completed their graduation in any stream, from a recognized university
3. Candidate age must be below 30 years, candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible for age relaxation as per government rules.

No. For PO and Clerk of IBPS or SBI or any Private Bank entrance you need to have graduation in any stream. And your age is also a factor to consider. You're 28 already. The maximum age to be eligible for Bank exams is generally 28 years. However, there are relaxations for SC/ST/PD candidates.

The complete details for IBPS Clerical Examination:-

Nationality: Should be a citizen of Indian/Nepal/Bhutan/Tibetan Refugee/Migrated from countries with intent to permanently settle in India.

Age: Minimum 20 and Maximum 28 as on August 1st of the examination year

Relaxations: 5 Years for SC/ST, 3 Years for OBC and 10 Years for PD and other relaxations for widowed, ex servicemen are applicable.

Educational Qualifications: A degree from any discipline from a government recognized university.
