Re: Is it necessary to take coaching for JEE MAIN preparation?
It all depends on you and how you want to study. Coaching is never necessary but due to high competition most of the students opt for it to see where they stand among all the good students. Hence, if you are confident enough to prepare on your own then don't go for coaching.
If you think that you need some guidance plus class room environment for studying then opt for it. It will also keep you disciplined if you are not good at self study. |

Re: Is it necessary to take coaching for JEE MAIN preparation?
JEE Mains is the entrance exam conducted to admit the students in Indian Institute of Technology (IIT's). The candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized board are eligible to write.
The preparation for this exam depends on the candidate's interest towards IIT's and quality education. The preparation for this exam needs at least 6-7 hours a day. The college will provide the mock tests or weekend test to evaluate the candidates knowledge on various topics. If the student cannot be able to cop with the college materials and preparation , then he/ she can go to the coaching centers which offer very good lectures on the important topics. However, if the candidate is financially poor then he/ she can go with their own preparaiton and with college material. They can follow some of the reference books like D C Pandey for Physics, O P Tandon for Chemistry, Arihant publications for Mathematics etc. |

If you study with planning and proper dedications then there is no need to waste your time and money in coaching. You can prepare by yourself for the JEE entrance exam.
** You should plan for the JEE main in your 11th standard and study your current syllabus by keeping JEE main in your mind. ** You should use NCERT/Class XII textbooks and don’t use too many reference books. ** Revise only those that you have done thoroughly. ** Keep yourself cool and confident. ** Plan your mock tests to match with exam time, so that at D-day you feel absolutely at ease. ** Please revise well all important topics from class XI in stipulated time. You can follow any book of the following : Chemistry Books : ** Numerical Chemistry Author: P.Bahadur(G.R.Bathla & Sons) ** University Chemistry Author: Bruce H. Re: Is it necessary to take coaching for JEE MAIN preparation?
It totally depends on the candidate capability. One of my classmate who score good marks in JEE mains without coaching but i know them they are always busy in studies if you are same then you won't need coaching. As per my knowledge JEE mains exam is really tougher than CBSE board exams you must need coaching to score good marks.

Re: Is it necessary to take coaching for JEE MAIN preparation?
See it totally depends upon the candidate whether he/she feels that there is need of coaching for preparation for him/her or not. There are so many candidates who do self preparation and crack the exam. JEE Mains and advanced exam are competitive exams in which a candidate has to do competition from candidates all over India.
If you can not prepare for the entrance exam through self study, you can join the coaching. Some of the advantages of coaching institutes is that they: >>provide you a competitive environment. >>Regular test series to assess whether you have understood or not what they have taught. >>Printed notes in brief. >>Experienced faculty with good command over subjects. Some of the best institutes for preparation for JEE Mains and advanced: 1. Vibrant Academy. 2. Vidya Mandir Classes. 3. Resonance. 3. Anand Super 30. 4. Aakash institute. 5. Bansal classes. |

Re: Is it necessary to take coaching for JEE MAIN preparation?
It is based on your interest and capability. If you have good knowledge about your 12th subjects and if you know some tricks to complete the answer in less time then their is no need take the coaching. If you are not able to answer the questions quickly then you have to go for coaching centers. But in my view there is no need to take any special coaching for preparation of JEE.
