Hello everyone, I am studying in 11th Arts. I am interested to join Bureau Services. I want to become an IB Officer. Kindly inform me about the recruitment and tell me the procedure to become IB Officer? Waiting for your response!

1. The minimum academic qualification required for Security Assistant Post in Intelligence Bureau is 12th passed from a recognized board. 11th standard candidates are not eligible for the post.

2. The minimum age required is 18 years. To apply for IB ACIO officer, you must be a graduate from a recognized university.

You need to complete at least a degree in any stream, if you are looking to join IB as an officer. There is nothing for a class 12th standard pass student. Hence, complete your 12th and then take admission in degree at any reputed university.

Selection at IB will be on the basis of written exam and interview conducted by Ministry of Home Affairs. Just make sure your age is between 18 to 27 years.

Procedure to become an IB officer for 11th arts student:-

If you have complete your graduation, then you can apply for intelligence Bureau.

If you have clear the entrance exam, then you have to appear in the interview.

If you have clear the interview, then you have select intelligence Bureau.

The entrance exams syllabus contain -objective type and descriptive type questions.

Candidates after pursuing final year of bachelor's degree can apply for IB ACIO examination. The age limit is 18-27 years.

Procedure to become an Intelligence Bureau Officer is Candidate must have passed Bachelor's Degree in stream from a recognized university. Final year candidate are also eligible to apply for this. Candidate age must be 18 to 27 years. Upper age relaxation are available for reserved category candidate.

Procedure to become an IB officer:

First of all, you have to complete the intermediate standard from any well affiliated board. You shall not have any pending backlog in intermediate standard.
After completion of intermediate, you have to apply for any graduation degree as per your area of interest. You may go for bachelor's of engineering in any discipline as per your personal interest.
After completion of graduation, you will fulfill the educational eligibility to apply for IB officer examination.
You can apply for the IB officer from their official website whenever there is any vacancy.
After clearing the written examination, you have to go through the medical test and interview.

Candidates are not eligible to become officer in IB after 11th.

The examination for recruitment as IB ACIO is conducted by MHA.

The examination is conducted for recruitment as an officer and the minimum required qualification to appear for the examination is bachelor degree.

So, you will have to pursue minimum bachelor degree qualification to appear for examination and selection as an officer in IB.
