Hello Sir, I am an average student, preparing for the Board exam for 10th standard from Rajasthan Board. My father is insisting me from now onwards to take Science in Intermediate but I am planning to take Commerce. So, I want to know that which one I should take in Intermediate?

First of all you need to set a career goal and then take your decision. You just can't follow a path, if you don't have a goal. If you have any interest, then take that stream, which will help you to succeed in that interest.

Both science and commerce have different scope. Hence, it would not be easy to guess, which one is good for you. It will depend on your career goal.

If you are an average student then I would like to suggest you that you should always follow your heart. An average student is capable of coping up with any stream so you should go with your interest.

I would like to tell you that you must choose commerce stream because of some reasons given below:

As we are living in India, there is too much competition in science stream.

If you choose medical stream then you have to face NEET for achieving admission in Medical College. Many of students waste their parents money in paying fees in coaching institute for preparing to the NEET.

And if by chance you will be able to qualify the entrance test then the fees of the medical institutes is so much that the middle class families cannot even afford.

Commerce is better because it is easy to be admitted in any college, low fees in comparison to Medical College, and of course easier way of gaining knowledge and building up a profession.
