My son is studying in 4th standard. He is a very bright student and he adapts everthing very quickly. I have heard that adult literacy and life enrichment programs will be taught at school level. I want to know what kind of education provided in such programs at school level under the new education policy?

Yes, union Cabinet on Wednesday (i.e.,: 29 JUL 2020) gave approval to India's new National Education Policy 2020. The New Educational policy's main aim is to universalisation of school education system starting from pre-school to secondary like providing
* Infrastructure support, innovative education centres to bring back dropouts into the mainstream and facilitating multiple ways to learning by involving both formal and non-formal education modes with the help of well-trained social workers in schools.

* Also, the policy changed the education system which is totally different from the old one.

* Various programs (like vocational courses, adult literacy and life-enrichment programs)are initiated with an aim of providing opportunity to attain foundational literacy, obtain an education, and pursue a livelihood must be viewed as basic rights of every citizen.

Like the above, there are lot of points that are covered under this new Educational policy 2020.
