There is a certain age criteria required for getting admission in High School Exams in CBSE board. Here are the minimum age and maximum age required for getting admission in CBSE board.

For Class VI: Minimum 10 years and Maximum 12 years

For Class VII: Minimum 11 years and Maximum 13 years

For Class VIII: Minimum 12 years and Maximum 14 years

For Class XI: Minimum 13 years and Maximum 15 years

For Class X: Minimum 14 years and Maximum 16 years

So the minimum age required for getting admission in CBSE board from Class 6th are mentioned above. After 10th, there in no age restriction for admission to 11th Class provided he candidates is seeking admission in the year of passing 10th Examination.
