No, there is no rule to transfer to another school after giving CBSE Board examinations. You can pursue your higher studies from the same school or you can also transfer to another school depending upon your interest. But, there is no such rule to transfer to new school after giving CBSE Board examinations. You can continue your higher studies from your school after giving CBSE Board examinations.

CBSE stands for Central Board of Secondary Education.
CBSE conducts boards examination at secondary and higher secondary examination.

It is not compulsory to change school after appearing for boards examination .
It depends on the student whether to change or not .
If the school has a group of good teachers in higher secondary then it will be better to continue in the same schools.

You can continue your schooling in one school. Its not an hard and fast rule that schools has to be change.
This kind of situation arises for defense personal chikdren,as within 3 year they got transfered,so they need to locate to new place and change the school.
Or
Someone is changing the school as they are shifted to new area.

It would be good for you to complete the schooling from one school as you are habituated to that environment, teachers, friends. If you change the school,it takes time to acquire with envirnment and to mingle with friends.

If we opt CBSE board based exam in class 10 rather than school based exam then do we have to take re-admission to pursue the higher education in the same school.

No, it is not compulsory to change the school after class 10th. You can continue your studies from the same school after class 10th. If you don't want to change the school then, it is not necessary to change it.

You have to change the school if and only if you want to change the board or if you don't want to study in that school anymore. If your school is upto class 10th then, you will have to change the board.

So, don't worry it is not compulsory to change the board after class 10th.
