Will there be any kind of problems regarding domicile if I am switching school after 11th standard from CBSE board to another school in 12th standard in the same board? It will be helpful if you can answer me on the same. Awaiting for the response.

There should be a very valid reason in order to provide it to the management to allow you to change your school after 11th standard under the same board, otherwise there is no chance for you to get transferred to another school under the same board.

No, there will be no problem if your present school is allowing to change to other school under same board. Generally, schools after 11th standard registration do not allow students to change school.

If you have following documents along with you then you have to face no problem in getting admission in New school under same board:

Migration certificate.
Mark sheet of last class you have passed.
New residential address proof.
Parent ID.
Any document in support of date of birth.

You have to apply for a fresh admission in new school and attach the above documents with admission form.

The registration for Senior Secondary board examination is done in 11th standard from any CBSE affiliated school.

You are admitted in 11th standard and registered for board examination. School change is not allowed after 11th standard.

Students can opt for board change after 10th not 11th. Once registration from a school is done in 11th standard, you are not permitted to leave your school.

No, there is no problem if you are shifting from one school to another in 12th standard under the same board. You can very much proceed with your shifting of school at the earliest in order to get well settled in the new environment and start with your studies further.

The procedure is as follows :

* Find out whether there is any seat or not and the school wants to fill them up for the current academic year or not.

* See if the candidate is eligible or not by seeing the aggregate marks in 11th.

* Apply for the entrance exam if any but with most of the possibility, there wont be any entrance test.

* You will need the following documents :
- Previous Mark sheets
- Transfer certificate
- Migration certificate (only in case of change of state or board)
- Character certificate

* You can pay the required fee which is dynamic for every year and take the admission.
