I am studying in class11 , my cgpa in class10 is 9.8 . When can I apply for NDA also tell me how to do so?

You can apply for NDA after completing 12th. Percentage of marks obtained in 10th or 12th is not a criteria. Eligible candidates are selected through UPSC conducted entrance exam, physical fitness test, and interview. Age of the candidate must be between 16 1/2 and 19 years. Applications can be submitted through the website of UPSC.

How To Apply in NDA

The National Defence Academy or the NDA Examination which is conducted every year in April and August..

This entrance exam is organized by the government body Union Public Service Commission

The minimum requirements which you should fulfill in order to appear for the NDA Exam :-

1) You should be an unmarried male candidate..

2) You must not be older than 19 years or younger than 16.5 years..

3) You have to be a 12th pass out from a recognized state or central board..

4) You should be having Physics and Maths in 12th if you are planning for joining the Navy or the Air Force..

5) There is no percentage restriction for applying for the NDA Exam..

The forms for the April examination are generally available in the month of February whereas for August..the forms shall be available in June..

The written entrance exam will have 2 papers :-

>> General Ability Test

>> Mathematics

After the written examination..you will have to clear these examinations :-

>> Medical Examination

>> SSB Personal Interview Round
