Is there any scope for getting admission in NIT calicut?If yes in which branch?

NIT stands for National Institute of Technology. The admission in any NIT is given on basis of Joint Entrance Examination Main scorecard and your rank in that exam. JEE Main is conducted by CBSE every year.

Eligibility criteria for JEE Main is:

>>Candidate must have done 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. General and OBC candidate must have minimum of 50% marks. For SC/ST candidates, there is 5% relaxation in marks.

Your rank and participation in counselling will decide in which stream of engineering you will get admission. 10+2 percentage of marks plays a vital role in overall rank of any candidate. Try to secure higher percentage of marks in 10+2.

For Admission in M.Tech in any NIT, candidate must clear GATE exam and secure a good rank in that exam.
