Candidate seeking for applying in Andhra Pradesh Police as a Sub Inspector must have completed the graduation from any stream from a recognized University. The minimum age limit to apply for the post of Sub Inspector is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years.[5%relaxation for the Sc/St candidates]. Candidates have to appear for an written test. The written test comprise of four papers which include English, Telgu, Mental Ability and General Studies. Minimum of 40% is required for the general candidates to qualify the exam, whereas 35% for Backward class and 30% for Sc/St candidates. The written exam will be followed by Interview.
