Candidate willing to pursue Master of Computer Application [MCA], through distance mode must have completed the Bachelors Degree in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects or with Mathematics at the +2 level. The duration of the program is three years. However, the Indira Gandhi National Open University, do have provision for candidates who have not pursued Mathematics as a distinct subject at +2 level are required to pursue and pass the CS-60 course concurrently.

Following are the list of some of the recognized Universities/Institutes offering MCA through Distance mode:

Indira Gandhi National Open University

Amity School of Distance Learning

Andhra University-School of Distance Education

Sikkim Manipal University

The Institute of Distance Education: University of Madras

For detail information one must refer to the official website of the University of concern and download the prospectus.
