Profile:

National Meat and Poultry Processing Board was founded by Government of India on February 19, 2009. But the registration of this board was actually done on March 26, 2009 under the Indian Societies Registration Act 1, 860. The board is an autonomous body which consists of total 19 members including the CEO and Chairman of the board. The major functionaly of the board includes the addressing of all the key issues related to Meat and Poultry processing sector for the sytematic and proper development of this sector. The major objective or aim of the board is to increase the earnings of the rural farmers.

Job Profile:

For meeting some of the urgent requirements, National Meat and Poultry Processing Board requires to recruit eligibel candidates on the posts of General Manager and Manager in different departments. Selected candidates will have to serve in this world class food testing laboratory present in New Delhi.

Eligibility:

Only candidates with prior experience in meat or poultry industry need to apply for the respective posts. Candidates with experience in a government department or organisation will get advantage over the other candidates. The maximum age limit set for the post of General Manager is 45 years while the maximum age limit set for the post of Manager is 40 years.

Educational Qualification:

Desirous candidates should have done graduation from any recognized institute or university. Also some years of experience in meat or poultry industry is need to be attained by the interested candidates.

Pay Scale:

General Manager (Meat): Rs. 50000 per month consolidated.
Manager (QC): Rs. 35000 per month consolidated.

Application Fee:

Candidates should send the demand draft of Rs. 750 as application fee in support of the completed application form. The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of National Meat & Poultry Processing Board and it should be payable at New Delhi only. Cash payment of the application fee is strictly prohibited and no candidates should try to do so.

Selection Process:

Candidates will only be appointed on the desired post if they manage to perform well in the personal interview session with the selection commitee. Candidates should keep this thing in their mind while preparing for this test. Appointments of the candidates would be purely on contract basis intially for a period of one years.
