Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude test is held every year for admission in post-graduation degree program of Pharmacy. This examination is held on national level by Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda on behalf of AICTE. The examination is same as GATE which is held foe engineering student.

Qualification for appearing in this exam:

Minimum educational qualification for this examination is degree in pharmacy from a recognised University or institution after 10+2 or lateral entry candidates. Also, candidates who are in final year of B. Pharmacy can apply for the paper.

Scoring and Negative Marking:

This paper consist of questions of equal marks, there is a golden chance for candidates to score full marks in the paper as it is an objective paper. There is provision of negative marking for each wrong answer, each wrong answer will result as deduction of 1/3rd marks allotted to that question.

Mode of Exam:

Examination is of objective type based questions which are of multiple choices and answers are to be marked on an OMR sheet.

Format:

Paper of GPAT is a conventional type examination; questions asked are to be answered in an OMR sheet by students with help of a ball pen.

Paper Pattern:

Paper of GPAT consisting of objective type questions which hare with multiple choices to choose. There are 150 questions of equal marks. Each question is to be attempted. There is provision of negative marking for each wrong answer. Questions are asked of single, stand-alone statement / phrase / data / structure.

Marking:

Total marks allotted to the paper are 450 and each question is of 3 marks, there is a chance to score full marks in the paper.

Schedule:

The paper is scheduled to be ended in 3 hours.
