Hidayatullah National Law University is one of the premier national law schools of India. It was started as a center of legal excellence under the Hidayatullah National University of Law, Chhattisgarh.  Today it is one of the most prestigious centre for legal education which offers excellent opportunities for the students to interact with the Judges, firms, banking,  academicians, lawyers, and other related institutions. University Grants Commission has included the HNLU University which offers various under graduate and post graduate courses to the applicants.

Campus:

The University has built a new campus at Uperwara which is about 22 km from the city campus. The new campus is spread over an area of 65 acres in a pollution free environment. The campus is distributed in various blocks which are separated for the students and the staff members in order to regulate the discipline of the University. The infrastructure is divided in various parts such as air-conditioned computer labs, three-storied library and a state of art moot court for the candidates. Moreover the entire campus is enabled by Wi-Fi connections.

Admission Procedure:

Students who have secured a least 50% marks in the 10+2 exams or its equivalent exams from any recognized board of India are eligible for these courses. The age limit of the individuals is below 20 years of age as on the date July 1 of the year of admission. 50% seats are reserved for students of Chhattisgarh state and rests of the seats are filled through entrance exam conducted by the university.

Placements:

Students of this prestigious University are given about six to eight weeks of internship during the valid periods of March and April. The students are provided career opportunities in various firms.
