The applications forms for the All India Agricultural Entrance exams are available from the sales counter of Agricultural Universities by the payment of Rs.500/-. It is also available from the selected Syndicate bank branches. Candidates can get the admission form along with an information bulletin by sending a request in a plain paper accompanying with a Demand Draft in the name of The Controller of the Exam. A self addressed envelope should be forwarded with the requisition letter. The candidates can download the application form from the website www.icar.org.in. The print out of the downloaded form can be filled by the candidate and send to the concerned address.

Instructions to Be Followed For Filling the Form

A list of instructions are there for filling the Agricultural Entrance Exam forms. The students should follow all these instructions at the time of filling the form. The candidates should give more care while filling the form.

• Candidates should write the details in Capital letters using a blue or black ball point pen.
• Examination centre code, state code etc. should be correctly filled in the appropriate columns.
• Write name and address correctly in the relevant columns. All communication is done through this address
• The natural signature of the candidate must be put in the appropriate column
• A recent passport size photograph should be pasted in the application form.
• The photograph should not be attested.
• Do not pin or staple the form
• The cash payment details should be mentioned in the appropriate column.
• For the downloaded application form demand draft should be attached with the application form.
• All the details given in the form should be correct
• Do not leave any column blank.
• Completed application form along with all needed documents should be send before the due date.

Exemptions to be taken care while filling in form

A few candidates appearing for the exam are eligible for certain exemptions. Certain exemptions in the qualification and age are given for the students under the category of OBC, Schedule caste and scheduled tribes. Physically disabled students also have certain privileges.

Last date for receipt of applications

The admission forms for the Agricultural Entrance exam should be received by the controller of the exam before the last week of February. The application form received after the due date will not be accepted.

Acknowledgement of the Exam Application Form

An acknowledgement card should also be attached with the application form. This acknowledgment card should be filled correctly and send along with the application form. The University will send this acknowledgement card to the students after receiving the application form. If the acknowledgement card is not received by the candidate, the candidate must contact the concerned office of enquiry.
