Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management – Kerala is offering Master of Science in Information Technology course having duration of two years. This institute will conduct National Entrance Test to admit candidates to this course. Candidates also need to face an interview if they qualify this test.

Structure of IIITM-K National Entrance Test

This test will be online test with multiple choice questions having duration of two hours. Questions will be divided into three sections with specified number of questions asked from each subject. Questions are divided according to the structure given below.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should possess any one of these qualifications to apply for this exam

• Bachelor’s Degree in any stream of Engineering with 60% or above aggregate
• Bachelor’s Degree in any stream of Technology with 60% or above aggregate
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Application with 60% or above aggregate

SC/ST candidates need only pass marks in the qualifying exam. Candidates applying with any of the following specifications need not attend the test to get admission.

• Having valid GATE score
• Under NRI category
• Under Foreign National category

How to Apply?

Candidate should apply for the test through the website www.iiitmk.ac.in. DD of application fee should be taken in the name of Director, IIITM-K. It should be payable at Thiruvananthapuram. After filling the application form online, payment advice form will be generated from the website. Candidates should send the print out of the online-filled form along with the DD and payment advice form to the address given below.

How to fill the Form?

While entering the name of the applicant, confirm it is same as specified in the Degree certificate. Affix recent photograph on the print out of the online –filled application form.

Fill every detail on the form carefully before submitting it to the concerned authority.

National Entrance Test of IIITM-K is very competitive in nature as many candidates will attend this test. To qualify in this test, candidates need good preparation. They have to prepare study plan which can be followed easily. It should specify the topics to be covered each day. Along with that, study plan should specify the time to study those topics. Concentrate more on difficult topics. Easy topics should be studied after finishing the difficult topics. As the test is objective in nature, practice with old question papers. This will help to analyze the problems easily. Coaching classes can help the students to manage their time to attempt each question as they will conduct mock tests. While following the specified study plan, try to avoid the mind from getting stressed. For that specify break time in the study plan.

Score Validity

Validity of the score obtained from the National Entrance Test will be for twelve months.
