Osmania University is one of the eminent universities in India offering various courses in Humanities, Arts, Sciences, Social Sciences, Law, Engineering, Medicine, Technology, Commerce and Business Management, Information Technology and Oriental Languages. M.Sc degree in Chemistry is one of those courses in Science. This university will conduct an entrance exam to admit candidates to this course.

Structure of Osmania University M.Sc Chemistry Entrance Exam

Questions asked for this exam will be objective in nature. This exam will be of ninety minutes duration with hundred questions. This test will consist of questions such as analogies, classification, matching, and comprehension of a research study or experiment or theoretical point of view

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should possess B.Sc degree with minimum 40% in aggregate of Part II. Candidates should also have studied Chemistry or Biological chemistry as one of the subjects in the undergraduate level. This aggregate will not be mandatory to SC/ST candidates, as they need only pass marks.

How to Apply?

Application forms with ICR sheet will be available from the Osmania University Press. Applicants can buy it by paying Rs.100/- in cash. Forms with ICR sheet will be also available in the website www.osmania.ac.in. Applicants can fill those forms after downloading it. Then they can send it to the concerned authority with the DD of Rs.300/- for each subject or course. If the applicants cannot collect forms by these methods, then they can receive it through post. For this applicants need to send DD of Rs.100/- along with a self addressed envelope to the Director, Osmania University. DD should be payable at Hyderabad. It should be taken from any nationalized bank in the name of the Director, Publication and Press, Hyderabad. Filled application forms should be sent to the Director, Osmania University along with the DD of Rs.150/- and filled ICR sheet.

How to fill the Form?

Candidate should fill the Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) sheet along with the application form. Both of them should be filled carefully following the instructions specified on the brochure. Applicants should personally fill the form without any mistakes. While entering their name on the ICR sheet, applicants should confirm it is same as in their degree certificates. After writing the first name, one box should be left blank before writing the surname.

Score Validity

Score obtained from Osmania University entrance exam will be valid for twelve months.
