Indus Institute of Technology and Engineering was established in 2006 and is one of the premier engineering colleges in Ahmedabad. This institute is managed by Bhandari Charitable Trust. A limited company known as Electrotherm India Ltd., look after this trust since 1988.

The vision of this institute is to convert this college into world class institute by imparting excellent professional education to the students. This college is affiliated to Gujarat Technical University (GTU) and is approved and recognized by the AICTE norms, New Delhi.

Admission & Eligibility:

The minimum eligibility for seeking admission to UG degree course in engineering is a pass in 10 + 2. All the candidates should appear for Gujarat Common Entrance Exam (GUJAT) conducted by the state government.

Facilities offered:

IITE has excellent infrastructure with spacious well ventilated class rooms. All the classrooms are supported by audio-video equipments.

The college holds a spacious library to accommodate more than 60 persons. The library has vast collection of over 18,000 books, around 150 journals and 50 international journals and 70 periodicals. In addition to the above, the learning center also supports digital learning in the form of CD’s to its students.

The campus also extends hostel facilities for accommodating 200 boys and 50 girls.

Training & Placement:

The T & P division of this college furnishes the students with all necessary skills in communication, software, and in behavior. Leading organizations such as Godrej, Mahindra Finance, Reliance Communications, Torrent Power, Bosch and GNFC have extended recruitment to the students of this college through campus interviews. The cell also organizes training by sending the students to industrial visits to various companies for gaining practical knowledge.
