Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts an entrance exam for a post graduate level Occupational Therapy (MOT) course at ISIC Institute. This institute has a tie up with Government of India and Government of Italy. As the largest Institute in Delhi, it has flexible and modern methods of teaching and provides vast knowledge and experience for their students. Getting admission in such a reputed Institute is not very easy. Candidates have to attend a test for getting admission to that institute.

Structure and Syllabus of ISIC-GGSIPU MOT

The admission of the candidates is based on the entrance exam conducted by ISIC. The entrance exam consists of 150 objective type questions and the duration of the exam is two hours and carries 600 marks. It includes questions from the sections of Anatomy, Biomechanics, Exercise, and Occupational Therapy in Mental Health, Occupational Therapy in Rehabilitation of Musculoskeletal and Neurological Conditions and Occupational Therapy in Physical Dysfunction.

The medium of the test is English. For each question there are four choices and the candidate have to select the right answer.  Those who passed the entrance exam can get a chance to study in ISIC institute.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have completed their graduation in Occupational Therapy with minimum 50% marks from any recognized University can apply for this test. There is an option for the final year graduate students can also apply for this test. The age limit of the candidate for this test is 35 years.

How to Apply?

Candidates have different options for getting the application form. The application forms along with the admission Brochure can be purchased from any branch of Punjab & Sind Bank. Punjab and Sind bank have branches everywhere in India. Candidates can download the application form the website and can fill it and send to the instructed address.

Otherwise a request in white paper can be sent along with a Demand Draft of Rs.1100/- to the Joint Registrar (Academic) of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Demand Draft should be taken in the name of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University which can be payable at Delhi.  Then the admission Brochure and application Form will be sent to you by registered post. A self addressed envelope should also be sent along with the request.

How to fill the Form?

There is an admission Brouchure which you get along with the application form. It includes the instructions for filling the form. Read the instructions thoroughly before filling the form. All details given in the application form should be true. No mandatory columns should be kept blank. It may cause to reject the application.

Documents or certificates proving your educational qualifications should be sent along with the application form. After completely filling it, send it to the address mentioned in the Brochure. The candidate should keep a print out copy of the application with him for further clarification or reference.

Online tests are conducted by various coaching centers, students can attend it to get an idea on how to manage time between different sections during the exam.

How and Where To Get the Results?

The University will prepare list contains the name of the candidates who qualified the Common Entrance Test conducted. The qualification of the candidates is based on the merit based mark obtained for them. This list is published in the website www.ipu.ac.in and the ranks are declared by the University for the selected candidates only. Candidates got the results from the website.

Score Validity

The score or rank for the CET exam is applicable for that year only. The Common entrance Test is conducted by the University every year. The score for the exam in one year is not sufficient for getting admission for the next year.
