The Commissioner of Entrance Examination conducts various entrance examinations for the selection of candidates for the admission into various courses. Kerala PG Nursing Entrance Exam is an entrance exam conducted by CEE for the selection of eligible candidates for the admission to the B.Sc Nursing Courses offered by different colleges in Kerala. The duration of the course is two years.  This exam is conducted each year for the admission to the academic year. Numerous applications reach the Exam Commissioners Office each year. The admission is for the following courses

• Community Health Nursing
• Child Health Nursing
• Obstetrics & Gynaecology Nursing
• Mental Health Nursing

Structure and Syllabus of Kerala PG Nursing Entrance Exam

The admission of the candidates for the PG Nursing Courses is done on the basis of a written entrance test. There will only be one paper in the written test. The format of the questions is of objective type format with 200 multiple type questions. The time allotted for the test is three hours. The test is mainly to evaluate the candidates knowledge in the subjects studied in their B.Sc Nursing course curriculum. The candidates have to answer correct answers for the questions otherwise some marks are deducted for wrong answers.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from any recognized University can apply for the test. Candidates completed their BSc nursing after general nursing course is also eligible for the test. The candidates should have a Registration Certificate from State Nursing Council. They have a minimum experience of one year in any Hospital. The candidates should have completed their one year internship before the time of admission. The candidates should not have more than 45 years of age. The candidate must be a Keralite. The final year Nursing Students can also apply for the test.

How to Apply?

The interested candidates can obtain the application form through three different ways. They can directly purchase the application form from the Commission of Entrance Exam Office against the cash payment. There are separate application forms for the general and SC/ST candidates. The general category candidates have to pay Rs.800/- and other category candidates have to pay Rs.400/- as the cost of the application fee.  Those who want to obtain the application form through post can get it by sending a request letter and a bank draft to the Entrance Commissioners Office. Candidates can get the application form downloaded from the website cee-keral.org. The online registration for the exam will also be possible through the website.

How to fill the Form?

For sending an error free application form candidates have to refer all the form filling guidelines before filing the form. Any minute mistakes in the filled form may be the cause for the rejection of the application form. The offline applicants must fill the form in their handwriting. All the details should be clear and should be in Capital Letters. It is the duty of the candidates to send the application form to the Commissioner’s office before the last date. The form should include all needed copies of the certificates.
