Kovai Kalaimagal College of Arts and Science is run by the Kovail Kalaimagal Educational trust and it is affiliated to Bharathiar University located at Coimbatore. This college is approved by the UGC u/s 2(f) and 12(B) of the act, 1956. This college along with Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Information Technology (CIET) is managed by the Trust along with another Women’s’ college. The main objective of this college is to provide overall development of the personality of the candidate by imparting value based education to them.

Admission Procedure:

The candidates who have passed higher secondary exam from a recognized Board of Education are eligible for applying to any Degree course as prescribed by the Bharathiyar University.

Scholarship:

In order to develop the need of education, each year the college recommends around 100 students who belong to either economically backward class or reserved category to the Government of Tamilnadu for getting the necessary scholarship.

Facilities available:

The college holds hostel facility at affordable cost with all basic amenities which provides them a comfortable homely atmosphere. The college library contains around 6,000 volumes of books apart from number of journals. Further they help the students in giving guides for preparation of TOEFL, GATE, CAT, and GRE exams.
