All India Council For Technical Education was formed in the year 1945 as an advisory body. The council was given the statutory status by an Act of Parliament in the year 1987. The council actually performs all its operations or functions under the control of Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development. The council is primarily responsible for performing planning and development of the technical education system in the country. Dr. S. S. Mantha is the present acting Chairperson of the council. The council has its headqaurter located at New Delhi.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited from eligible, qualified and experienced Indian Citizens for filling up the following vacant positions of Legal Officer, Private Secretary, Accountant/ Office Superintendent-cum-Accountant, Personal Assistant and Upper Division Clerk in All India Council For Technical Education. Applications are mainly invited from employees of Central or State Governments. Candidates will be recruited purely on deputation basis initially for the period of one year which can be extendable upto three years on year to year basis or till the posts are filled up on regular basis. The council also reserves the right to left the posts vacant in case no suitable candidates are found.

3. Recruitment of Accountant/ Office Superintendent-cum-Accountant Group ‘C’:

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

4. Recruitment of Personal Assistant Group ‘C’:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

5. Recruitment of Upper Division Clerk Group ‘C’:
No. of posts: Only 6 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the above specified position depending on their performance in the two different stages of the selection process. The two stages of the Selection process includes:

i. Competitive Written Examination, and
ii. Personal Interview Test/Group Discussion
