This exam is conducted by Maharshi Dayanand University to admit candidates to the B.Ed course through Distance education mode offered in its constituent B.Ed colleges.

Structure of MDU B.Ed Entrance Exam

Only objective questions will be asked in this test with multiple choices of answers. Candidates should complete ninety questions within one and a half hours. Candidates will get one mark, if they give correct answer to a question.

Eligibility Criteria

Only in service teachers with two years experience from any recognized schools located in Haryana are eligible to apply for this test. Candidates should also possess any of the degrees given below from a recognized University or Institute.

  • Master’s degree in Science or Mathematics

Cut off marks will be specified for the qualifying examination to become eligible for the test. This cut off marks will be different for general category and reserved category, which are given below

  • General category – 50% marks
  • Reserved category – 45% marks

How to Apply?

Applicants should obtain application forms from the University sale counter after paying the required application fee. Then it should be sent to The Director, MDU, Haryana after filling completely. They can also download the form from the website www.mdudde.net. In this case application fee can be paid through DD taken from any nationalized bank. This DD should be send along with the filled application form to the concerned authority.

Applicants should pay an additional fee of Rs.50 along with the application fee on receiving the application forms through post.

The required application fee for this exam is given below

  • General category – Rs. 800/-
  • SC/ST category – Rs. 200/-

How to fill the Form?

Before filling the application form for this B.Ed entrance exam, applicants should read the information brochure carefully. Applicants should write Not Applicable (N.A) in the columns which are not applicable to them so as to avoid leaving any column as blank.

Affix latest photograph on the space specified for it on the form.
