Company profile: MSETCL is one of the largest transmission companies in the state of Maharashtra. It has a huge capacity and a large no. of sub stations. There has been an excellent growth in the success of the organization owing to its hard work and challenging work. The main aim of the organization is to achieve cost and quality effectiveness and Human resource development.

Job profile: The managers will be required to work in the HR department of the company. They will be responsible for choosing the dynamic and deserving employees for the company. They will also be responsible for managing the staff under them.

Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 40 years for the post of Assistant General Manager (HR), Senior Manager (HR) and Manager (HR) and 35 years for Deputy Manager (HR)-Trainee. However relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: A candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university plus a full time (2 years) MBA in HR/Personnel Management from a recognized university. A minimum of 7 years of experience is required for an AGM, 5 years for a SM and 3 years for a Manager. There is no necessary experience required for DM.

No. of posts: There are 44 posts in total (AGM-3, SM-7, M-7 and DM-27).

Pay scale: The pay scale for the AGMs is Rs26860-59555, for the SMs is Rs. 21170-47895, for the Managers is Rs. 19810-43990 and for the DMs (Trainee) is Rs. 14225-35905 plus other usual allowances as per the rules.

Selection process: The candidates will have to appear for a written test followed by an interview.

How to apply: The candidates are required to apply as per the format given on the website. The candidates applying for the post of AGM will have to pay a fee of Rs600 (GEN) and Rs300 (Others) and for rest of the posts they have to pay a fee of Rs500 (GEN) and Rs250 (Others). The DD must be in the favor of “Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Ltd” All the applications along with the attested copies of the supporting documents must be sent to Post Box No. 27675, Malad (East), Mumbai-400 097 only by ordinary post.

The last date for the receipt of applications is 7th October 2009.
