Company profile: Mazagon Dock Ltd is one of the premier companies engaged in shipbuilding with the ISO 9001-2000 certification. It is actively engaged in construction of warships and submarines for the Indian Navy. It also constructs other vessels and commercial vehicles.

Job profile: The GMs (technical) will be responsible for leading a team of professional and work in the departments like production, planning, project function and design etc. They will be responsible for making and implementation of changes and execution of various activities.

Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 52 years. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: A candidate must possess a degree in engineering in mechanical or electrical discipline OR a degree in naval architecture OR a degree in engineering with a post graduate diploma in naval architecture from a recognized university. A candidate must also have a minimum of 20 years experience in the relevant field.

No. of posts: There are 4 posts in total which include 3 for unreserved candidates and 1 for OBC candidates.

Pay scale: The GMs will be given a pay scale of Rs51300-73000 plus other usual allowances like HRA, IDA, PF, Gratuity and Medical etc as per the rules.

Selection process: The candidates will be required to appear for an interview at the Mazagon Dock Ltd in Mumbai. The candidates will also undergo a medical fitness test.
