Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute Common Entrance Test for Post Graduate Medical Courses(MGMCRI CETPGMC) is an entrance exam for Post Graduate Medical Courses MD/MS and PG Diploma in Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute. MGMCRI is conducted each year by Pondicherry Linguistic & Religious Minority Medical and Dental Colleges Welfare Association. A large number of students appear for MGMCRI CETPGMC every year for admission to different PG medical courses.

Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute is part of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University which is a deemed university. It was established in 2001. Eligibility criteria:

To apply for CETPGMC a candidate must have done MBBS from an institute recognized by Medical Council of India. The candidates who will complete their internship before 30th April, 2011 can also apply.
The candidates that are willing to undertake admission in post graduate level in the medical course have to be a Citizen of India. Furthermore, the candidates should be mentally sound and fit and should be physically free from any kind of disease or illness. Failure in any of the above criterion directs in cancellation of the Application Form of the respective candidate and he or she is not allowed to undertake the final admission.

Availability of Application forms for CETPGMC 2011:

The forms for CETPGMC will be available from the MGMCRI. The form can also be obtained by post from MGMCRI by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form. Candidates can also download the form through the website www.balajitrust.org

The overall price of the Application Form brought from any Cash counter is around Rs. 1000/ and if drawn against a Demand Draft is priced at Rs. 1050/. Candidates that are planning to buy the application form through post have to clearly provide a signature behind the Demand Draft and should also mention the registration number at the top of the Requisite Letter.

Part 1:100 questions from Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology and Forensic Medicine & Toxicology.

Part 2:150 questions from Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Community Medicine, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, ENT, Anaesthesiology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Radio-diagnosis and Radio-therapy.
