MICAT is conducted by Mudra institute of Communication situated in Ahmadabad for admission to its PG diploma courses (PGDM-C). Established in 1991, MICA provides all facilities and opportunities to their students. Many marketing communication Companies select their employers from this institution. Its sole purpose by conducting this PGDM courses is for marketing the communication industry.

Structure of MICAT

The students short listed through this test are asked to attend a MICAT written test. The test is to evaluating the candidates on the basis of the following areas,

• Analytical Ability
• Divergent Thinking
• Written Communication Skills
• General Awareness about The Communications Industry

The duration of the test is 1.30hrs which will test the candidate’s communication skills. There is also group exercise and personal interview to check the candidate’s verbal skills and his thinking style. There is no syllabus as such.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility for PGDM-C course is the following:

• Should have a Bachelor’s degree (3year)
• Bachelor’s degree should be from a recognized institute.
• Candidate should have an aggregate of minimum 50%.

Here will be suitable consideration for the candaites in the reservation group. As the candidate is selected through CAT exam eligibility for that exam is also mandatory.

For that they need to sent a letter to the below given address. It is a must that the candidate should sign on the other side of the DD. They should also write their registration number on the back side of the Demand Draft. It should be also sent along with the requisite letter. Attested mark list copies should be also sent along with requisite letter with his or her name written clearly along with his or her parent’s name.The copies should be attested by an officer in the rank of a Gazzetted Officer.Non attested copies will be rejected.Cost of the application form is Rs 1500.Candidates need to pay the amount as demand draft in favor of :

Application forms will be available from the first week of October to the second week of January.

How to fill the Form?

While filling the form he/she should give full attention. Students are asked to read each and every line of the information booklet, which will be provided, to you along with the application form. The information booklet will help you fill the application form. You can use a ballpoint pen or pencil for filling up the form. The information’s entered should be in block letters. After filling the application, form you are asked to keep a photocopy of the application form for future refferences.Any mistakes in application form will lead to the rejection of the application form.

Important Dates (Tentative)

Application forms are available by the last week of September or from the first week of October, 2011

Application forms will be issued only till the end o January, 2012

Candidates can get their call letters by the first week of February, 2012

MICAT written test will be conducted on the end of February, 2012

Group Exercise and Personal Interview will be held on the month of March, 2012

Results will be declared by April. 2012

Classes will be starting from the last week of June. 2012
