M.Sc in Instrumentation Science
M.Sc in Instrumentation Science is a two year postgraduate degree program in which students are provided with technical education and training which enables them to serve in the industry and research activities. The sole aim of this program is to prepare professional with the technical background of physicists and also develop personnel having scientific and logical thinking power. This programme is designed in order to train professional physicists for careers in research, government labs, hospitals, modern industries and various other technologically oriented enterprises.
Eligibility criteria:
Students who have completed their B.Sc degree (physics/instrumentation science/ applied science/ electronics /computer science or B.E. with 50% marks in aggregate) are eligible for this course. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category, minimum of pass marks are required. Students are admitted on the basis of entrance test conducted by various universities.
Course duration:
The duration of this course is maximum 2 years.

This course offers great placement in industries like thermal power stations, refineries, steel plants, cement and fertilizer plants, etc which includes areas like marketing, purchasing, finance, sales, HR, IT or general management.
