Prathama Bank is a scheduled bank, which is included in the list of banks published by the Reserve Bank of Indian in the second schedule. The banks is offering service to three districts in the state of UP namely Rampur, Jyotiba Phule Nagar and Moradabad and 50% of the bank’s shares are held by Government of India, 35% by Syndicate Bank and 15% by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

Prathama Bank has invited applications from eligible citizens of India for the post of Officer Junior Management Grade Scale-I and the details regarding the notification issued by the bank for the same are given below:

Name of the Vacancy: Officer Junior Management Grade Scale I (Post Code: 03)

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 75, which is divided among the different categories as follows

• SC - 12

• OBC – 19

• ST – 05

• General – 39

Out of the 75 posts, 02 posts are reserved for the PWD (OC) and EXS candidates.

Pay Scale: Candidates appointed for the position of Officer Junior Management Grade Scale I will come under the pay brand of Rs. 14500-600-18700-700-20100-800-25700. Therefore, the total beginning pay would be approximately Rs.23400 per month, which includes DA and HRA.

Period of Probation: Two years

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification: To apply for this position, candidates must be graduates in any discipline or its equivalent qualification. Preference will be given to candidates with degree in agriculture, accountancy, economics, horticulture, forestry, law, management, animal husbandry, veterinary science, information technology, agriculture marketing & co-operation, agriculture engineering and pisciculture and they should be proficient in English and Hindi. Preference will be given to candidates with computer awareness and knowledge.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in written test followed by interview. The written test is tentatively fixed on the 25th of September 2011. For details regarding the examination centres, candidates can download the notification from the website of the bank.

Application fee:

Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.400, which is inclusive of postal charges and SC/ST candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs.100, which is postal charges alone. Fee should be paid through Prathma Bank Challan Form – 01 that can be downloaded from the website of the bank. Once the challan is duly filled the amount should be paid to the credit of Account No. 85801050000020 with account name Prathama Bank Recruitment Account in any branches of Syndicate bank. The candidate copy should be produced by the candidates at the time of written test. The fee should be paid between 21st of July and 12th of August 2011.
